whoops. i thought i had a post ready for yesterday and then logged in and there were no words. just photos. i could have just let you all guess what was going on, but a lot of wine was involved, so it's even hazy to me. more about that coming next week. today's post idea found on liz's blog. she is the reason i want to go to greece for our honeymoon - her photos are amazing.

without further ado, if you really knew me...

+ you'd know i drive a 1999 accord, new to me three years ago. i paid it off, and hope it lasts another 10 years. haha, we shall see on that one!

+ you'd know i'm disappointed i'm not a vegetarian anymore. i gained so much weight doing it, though, and i really missed chicken sandwiches.

+ you'd know i started this blog because i have a terrible memory. it's pretty annoying and sometimes awkward, but that's why i'm glad i have this blog.

+ you'd know i'm addicted to chapstick. this organic kind, to be exact. i have a long and dramatic history with chapsticks. i will spare you the details, at least for today.

+ you'd know i have mixed emotions about being out here in denver, but it is getting better every day. like i've said, if nothing else, it's a good story to tell the kids someday!

+ you'd know i have been wanting to plan a wedding to b for three years, and now that it's here it's been generally disappointing and stressful. no one be surprised if we elope.

+ you'd know i hate being barefoot. i lovelovelove socks. when it's warm, when i sleep, all the time. sock lovers unite!

fun stuff. now i'm off to count down the hours until the olympics start! socks and the olympics all weekend.

confessions.

one of my favorite blogs blonde ambition {which i found through kelly's korner, which my work bff sandra recommended}, is doing confessional friday. this is awesome because, as you know, i love to overshare.

first up: so, i'm on pinterest probably about once a week. that's because i can quickly scroll through all the pins and am done in like 10 minutes. this is because i never noticed the "everything" button. um.

i was only looking at the people i follow's pins. duuuhhh. i consider myself pretty tech savvy, so i'm just embarrassed. bright side: i can now spend a lot more time on pinterest.


second: this blog is called "on repeat" because when i love something, i am going to love it to death. currently on repeat, "easy" by rascal flatts. i don't care if rascal flatts is "dead to you" {side eye courtney} or if you totally hate natasha bedingfield {side eye myself before i heard this song}, you're gonna get into it. that high part at the end where it's so emosh, "what she don't know!" go ahead and just listen:

numero tres: remember how i thought i'd be in pjs for new year's? yep, forgetaboutit. last night i made us reservations at red pony. it looks ah-mazing. they have veg options for every course, which really impresses me. even if i am eating chicken now.

actually, the real confession of this needs to be that i ate a wendy's chicken sandwich for dinner...

O. Overnight hospital stays – torn ankle ligament surgery in 8th grade. i rocked a green and white striped cast after.

Q. Quote from a movie – people, my favorite movie is "the mummy". like, not the original, the remake with brendan fraser. i'm not the type to quote movies. unless we're signing disney songs. then it would be "part of your world" from little mermaid. #bam

T. Time it takes you to get ready – forevah. my hair takes 1 billion minutes to dry, then i straighten it, then i curl it. writing this out makes it seem insane. however, i only wash it a few times a week. writing that out makes me sound dirty.
U. Underwear – i love to buy it.
V. Vegetable you hate – brussel sprouts! which is such a common veg you hate answer, i know, but i actually had them for the first time this year and was so grossed out. they taste like dirt, yo.
W. What makes you run late – typically my hair. i could stand and re-do the curls all day long.

Y. Yummy food you make – i make killer grilled cheese. i also whip up the best mac i have personally ever eaten. and my funfetti cake is the bomb.com.
